Why Your Survival Instincts Maybe Blocking Your Intuition. Exploring the battle between what is blocking your intuition and what is nurturing it?

What is Intuition?
Intuition is the ability to gain certain information or knowledge without any logical reasoning or evidence using extra sensory processing.
Those encouraged to use and develop their intuition, see it is as something very natural so become more confident in it and learn to master it.
If we are not allowed or encouraged to use our intuition or become fearful of it we can in many ways lose it. And what I mean is we become blocked from our intuition.
What is Survival Instinct?
Survival instinct is a form of self-preservation, the survival response is basically the stress response when we perceive harm and respond physiologically into the fight, flight or freeze response.
When we find ourself in chronic stress or chronic anxiety we become very disconnected from our inner knowing and intuition and from what is best for the collective. It becomes more about me than we.

Why fear and stress is killing your intuition.
Why FEAR is Blocking Your Intuition
When someone is constantly anxious, stressed or triggered. Their over riding fear takes over any rational thoughts, their distortions, their shadow traits, their inner child wounding comes out to play.
That is why information overload and media propaganda is blocking your intuition and discernment. It is why so many people today are intuitively blocked and conditioned what to think and how to think.
Why so many people today don’t ever question what their told, don’t go inward or do their own research or fact checking.
Balanced Instincts And Your Intuition
Carl Jung talked about both the unconscious traits of instincts and intuition as opposing each other but bound in some way.
Balanced instinct in many ways is balanced action, intuition is that intuitive nudge often a sense an idea.
Unbalanced instinct is based on chronic fear or chronic stress.
Intuition when balanced and highly developed gives us certain useful information. I believe in many ways our intuition and inner knowing is a channel to God’s Wisdom.
It can helps us to know when and how to act when our instincts are in a state of harmony and balance.
That is why some of the most successful self-made business owners have highly developed intuition and are great in a crisis.
Successful people balance their instincts with their intuition. Have good discernment between what is just fear, anxiety or stress and what is intuition. And don’t let their trauma or triggers override their inner guidance.
What Else Is Blocking Your Intuition?
Now there is many things that can block your intuition such as unhealthy and processed foods, stimulants, certain drugs, heavy metals and toxins.
As well as unhealthy thinking and distortions, lack of critical thinking skills, very left brained thinking and certain types of archetypal traits.
Archetypal Shadow Traits Blocking Your Intuition
Certain archetypal traits especially shadow traits can be blocking your intuition.
Your inner child wounding is great at keeping you small and want to protect you from the truth.
This is why those strong in their eternal child wounding or strong in their innocent child wounding can struggle with intuitive nudges that take them away from their comfort zone.
Any intuitive guidance that means they have to question their reality, identity or grow up is much easier to disconnect from.
Those strong in their analytical and left brain thinking such as the sage archetype even sometimes ruler and leader archetypes who are very focused on the external world, the materialistic world can struggle with what they cannot see.
Technocrats and scientists are often very stuck in their logical and analytical brain.
Archetypal Light Traits That Boost Your Intuition
Certain archetypal traits can help improve your intuition.
For example tapping into the artist and creator archetype helps us become more intuitive and free flowing. Most great artists and creatives are naturally intuitive.
The mystic archetype and alchemist archetype really embody the unseen, the alchemist learns to integrate the dark and light, marriage opposites in relation to the female and male archetypes, the yin and yang. Which is a great example of balancing intuition with healthy instincts.
The empath archetype is a big feeler and big sensor, some types of empaths will really intuitively feel and sense what is going on with those around them, some sense what is going on in the earth, animals, the collective.
The empaths default is their intuition though like everyone their shadow traits can be distortive in relation to past trauma or wounding. Absorbing too much of other people’s energy can be blocking your intuition.
